Enhanced Performance & Maintenance For Improved Washing

FREE SHIPPING (lower 48 United States)

The ACTIVE 3.0 is designed with improved internals and easy serviceability in mind.

Key Benefits

  • Performance: Patented 5 piston pump produces 3.0 gpm & 1000psi @ 18 amps

  • Ultra-Quiet Operation: The low-speed induction motor is rated for 1600rpm, reducing sound to approximately 75db

  • Easy Serviceability and Improved Internals: With an oil plug & drain for easy maintenance and upgraded seals, valves & pistons the 3.0 is a serviceable workhorse.

  • Incredible Flow For Easy Rinsing: Save time and improve efficiency with 3.0gpm of rinsing power.

Important Notes

What electrical circuit and extension cord do I need for the ACTIVE 3.0?

  • The ACTIVE 3.0 is designed to run on a 20 amp circuit rated at 120V/60Hz. We discourage the use of extension cords, but if one must be used, it should be no longer than 50 feet and rated for 12 AWG.

* NOTE: 20 AMP Breaker & Outlet/Receptacle Required For Operation - The power cord is terminated in a NEMA 5-20R plug, recognized by a horizontal "T" on the neutral (left) side which is compatible with a NEMA 5-20R receptacle. *

Foam Cannon Performance with 3.0 GPM Systems

The Active 3.0 produces a higher volume of water flow at 3.0 gallons per minute, which directly affects how foam behaves through a foam cannon.

With this increased flow, the foam output will typically appear thinner and more fluid than what many users are accustomed to with lower GPM consumer units. This is a normal result of higher water throughput.

It is important to understand that thick, shaving cream style foam often seen in videos is largely visual. In real-world detailing, that type of foam does not inherently clean better and can reduce efficiency by limiting how well the solution spreads and dwells across the surface.

A more fluid foam that evenly coats the vehicle and remains on the surface for the proper dwell time will perform fully as intended for loosening dirt, road film, and contamination prior to rinsing.

Since implementing the Active 3.0 in our detailing operations we have consistently found that higher GPM systems like the Active 3.0 lead to faster and more efficient washing. Increased water volume improves rinsing performance and helps move contamination off the surface more effectively. This has a direct impact on workflow speed, especially when working on multiple vehicles.

From a practical standpoint, this makes a greater difference in overall efficiency than producing thick, video-style foam.

This system is particularly well suited for environments where:

  • Fast and thorough rinsing is a priority

  • Efficiency across multiple vehicles matters

  • Consistent, repeatable wash performance is required

The focus with a 3.0 GPM system is not foam appearance, but real cleaning performance and workflow efficiency, which is what ultimately matters in both professional and high-frequency use.

Important Note on the Active 3.0 GPM Pressure Washer Used With CR-Spotless Systems

  • The Active 3.0 Pressure Washer outputs up to 3.0 GPM to maximize rinsing efficiency and coat the vehicle down quickly.
  • CR Spotless Limits: Popular residential units like the CR Spotless DIC-20 are strictly rated for a maximum flow restriction of 2.5 GPM
  • Using the Active 3.0 with a DIC/DIW-20 System without specific additional considerations can compromise the effectiveness of the CR Spotless Resin in addition to stressing the pump motor in the Active 3.0 unit.
  • Load Voltage: 120V/60 Hz
  • Rated Current: 18A
  • Power Cord: 35 ft. 12 AWG with GFCI
  • Working Pressure: 1000 PSI
  • Water Flow: 3.0 GPM
  • Maximum Water Temperature: 104°F (40°C)
  • Motor: 128 Induction
  • Pump: Patented 5 Piston Induction Motor
  • To ensure proper operation, steel-braided hoses are strongly recommended when using this unit.

I’m very satisfied with the

"I’m very satisfied with the performance of my new Active 3. 0. If you have a dedicated 20 amp outlet, I think this is the way to go. I did a ton of research before I landed on this model. Probably too much. Paralysis by analysis is a condition I commonly suffer from. In the end, I decided this unit was the best bang for the buck. I was previously using a Sun Joe which seized on me after two years. The difference in performance was night and day. I wash one or two cars a week and if anything, this thing is total overkill. It’s a beast. But hey, every time I use it, it puts a smile on my face. The amount of water it puts out is amazing. It’s also very quiet. Also, I purchased a Raincovo foam cannon and put in a MJJC 1. 65 orifice in it and I’m getting amazing foam. So no issues there. I purchased this unit for the performance as well as for the reliability. I can’t personally speak to the reliability of this unit yet, but it’s built like a tank. Assuming it lasts as long as it’s supposed to, I’ll continue to be very happy with my purchase."
