Once the bottle of coating is opened, the curing process begins, even if you put the cap back on tightly. Once opened, you should use the coating within one month's time.
Please be sure to use all coatings as soon as you can from the time you receive them.
All coatings have a limited shelf life due to the chemical nature of how they crystallize. Look to use coatings within 4-6 months of receiving them (less if bottle is opened).

"This was my first ceramic coating that I‚Äôve ever done so take it for what it is. I put this on brand new 23 corvette. The kit give everything you need as long as you‚Äôre not correcting paint. I washed the car with dawn detergent and then wiped the car down with Prep. Prep was extremely easy to work with and smelled great!! It was incredibly easy to use. There‚Äôs enough zipang to do two vehicles. I followed the video instructions and didn‚Äôt have any problems. I have no idea of the longevity of the coating but I‚Äôll continue to buy it. I was almost a little intimidated because I thought I‚Äôd end up with high spots or I‚Äôd apply it incorrectly. That wasn‚Äôt the case. It‚Äôs user friendly. I did the two towel buff method and get any high spots or streaks left behind. I also did 1 panel at a time. I installed one panel at a time and buffed off almost as soon as I was finished applying to the panel. I‚Äôd highly recommend this product. I think it looks fantastic on the car. It really pops!! I‚Äôd for sure recommend their applicator to apply it. My corvette has tons of bends. The applicator that came with the zipang wasn‚Äôt very pliable. It‚Äôs really stiff and would have been a monster to work with. Also buy the droplet things they sell. You‚Äôll need them to do the second car with (unless you do them at the same time) but I‚Äôd still recommend them. They‚Äôre a super cheap add on"
