Esoteric Authority on Gyeon Coatings

Esoteric was the original importer and exclusive distributor of Gyeon products in the United States beginning in 2015. We played a direct role in establishing the U.S. market for Gyeon and have worked hands-on with every generation of their coatings since their introduction.

Advanced Two-Layer Ceramic Coating System

Q² Syncro EVO combines the MOHS EVO base coat with the Skin EVO topcoat to create a synergistic coating system. MOHS EVO provides the foundation of durability and chemical resistance, while Skin EVO enhances gloss, slickness, and hydrophobic performance.

The Skin EVO topcoat also delivers a noticeable color enrichment effect, particularly on darker paint colors, producing a deep, rich finish with crisp reflections.

Re-Engineered EVO Coating Technology

MOHS EVO utilizes fluoro-modified polysilazane technology, delivering meaningful improvements in chemical resistance, durability, and ease of application. This advanced chemistry allows the coating to apply smoothly, level easily, and wipe off cleanly while maintaining long-term performance.

The result is a coating system that feels slick and smooth while remaining highly resistant to environmental exposure, chemicals, and wash-induced wear.

Outdoor Application Capability

All EVO coatings can be applied outdoors when proper conditions are met. Avoid direct sunlight, ensure stable weather conditions, and prevent the coating from getting wet for at least 12 hours after application.

Ensure the surface is fully washed, decontaminated, and properly prepped before application. Apply MOHS EVO first, followed by Skin EVO according to recommended cure times.

EVO coatings should be applied in stable conditions and protected from moisture for at least 12 hours after application. Avoid direct sunlight during installation.

"I have used GTechniq CSL and Carpro CQuartz 3. 0 and was not getting the gloss or hydrophobic properties I hoped for. I applied Gyeon Synchro Evo Q2 on my brand new 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance and cannot believe how much better this coating is. The application was the easiest of the three and very forgiving. The gloss is absolutely astonishing. It looks like the clear coat is a mile deep and wet. First time it rained I came outside to find the entire car so hydrophobic that each water droplets appeared to be magnetically repelled. As soon as a water bead got large enough to contact another one close by, they snapped together and just roll off taking every bead in its path with it. I wash the car at least once a week and contaminates come off effortlessly. I’ve applied this to ppf and it’s just as effective. I am beyond"

Syncro evo

"I’ve used the previous gyeon syncro, 5 years ago on the same vehicle. This vehicle is my daily driver and is left outside in all weather conditions. I was overly impressed with the previous version’s performance which is why I purchased the new version as the coating started to fail just after 4 years. I tried other coatings on my vehicles that aren’t left outside and are garage kept. I’ve used the kamikaze myobi and ism on one of my vehicles, I also used gteqnie serum light and exo on one of my vehicles. The gyeon coatings seem to out perform both of those coatings. I am confident that I will get another 4 years from this coating and if I ever coat another vehicle I will definitely go with gyeon products. My only problem was not enough applicator pads provided with the coating."

"Very easy to apply just make sure you set your timer for 1 hour so can go back and start to apply skin. I found that I was only able to due half vehicle at a time. Apply Moses the hour up go back and apply skin. Then finish the rest of vehicle wait the hour time frame. So look at 3 hours plus to complete."

"Looks amazing and added an incredible depth to my light blue car. Super easy to install both the mohs and skin coatings. Put on and then can almost immediately wipe off for both. Took around two hours two apply and the results are better than expected. Also used on some of my panels with ppf and they turned out just as well."
