Gyeon Q² MOHS EVO is a single-layer ceramic coating delivering high gloss, extreme durability, and intense hydrophobic behavior.

Re-Engineered Ceramic Coating Technology

Gyeon completely redesigned its legendary Q² MOHS coating with the EVO release, introducing a world-first use of fluoro-modified polysilazane technology within automotive surface protection.

By modifying polysilazanes at the precursory stage, MOHS EVO delivers meaningful gains in durability, chemical resistance, and ease of application without sacrificing visual clarity or slickness.

Unlike previous generations, Q² MOHS EVO is now a true single-layer coating, saving significant application time while still allowing optional layering for extended service life.

What Sets MOHS EVO Apart

Extremely easy application with smooth wipe-off
High chemical resistance with long-term durability
Crisp, sharp finish with a brilliant, reflective gloss
Strong hydrophobic and self-cleaning behavior
Safe for paint, PPF, wheels, and brake calipers
Outdoor application possible when kept out of direct sunlight

Why Esoteric Recommends Gyeon MOHS EVO

Esoteric was the original importer and exclusive U.S. distributor of Gyeon products beginning in 2015, long before ceramic coatings became mainstream in North America.

During those early years, we worked directly with Gyeon to introduce, test, and refine ceramic coating systems for real-world use in the United States, helping establish the foundation for what has since become one of the most respected coating brands globally.

Today, Gyeon products are widely available through many distributors, but our experience with MOHS — and the entire Gyeon lineup — extends back further than anyone else in the U.S. market.

We use Gyeon MOHS EVO regularly in our professional detailing studio and teach its application and maintenance as part of our Elite Detailer Academy curriculum, where professionals from around the world train using the same tools and coatings we rely on daily.

Durability Expectations

1 layer: up to 3 years with proper maintenance
2 layers: up to 4 years with proper maintenance

Size Recommendations

30 ml: standard-size vehicles, single-layer application
50 ml: large vehicles or multi-layer applications

To simplify application and long-term maintenance, we recommend the complete Gyeon Q² MOHS EVO Coating Kit .

Ensure the surface is fully washed, chemically decontaminated, and polished prior to application. Apply in a controlled environment out of direct sunlight. Allow proper cure time before exposure to moisture.

Maintain only with coating-safe shampoos and ceramic maintenance products. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing during the service life of the coating.

Q² MOHS EVO is designed to balance ease of use with long-term performance, making it suitable for both experienced enthusiasts and professional detailers.
