How It Performs
Bugs and insect remains can be extremely acidic and can etch paint if left too long. ESOTERIC Insect Remover is engineered to quickly penetrate and dissolve these residues before they bond to the surface. The product wets and softens the debris within minutes, allowing agitation with a sponge or wash mitt to safely lift it away.
The formula is strong enough for front bumpers, grilles, mirrors, headlights, and lower panels that take the brunt of highway driving—yet safe enough for regular use when the directions are followed. The result is a cleaner surface ready for a proper wash, coating maintenance, or protection application.
Directions
- Make sure the surface is cool to the touch
- Spray directly onto areas with bugs
- Let dwell for 2–3 minutes
- Lightly agitate with a bug sponge to break down contaminants (e.g., SONAX Insect Sponge)
- Rinse thoroughly with water

Besides the chemistry, we spent months deliberating on exactly what bottles and sprayers we wanted to use. We sourced from around the world, landing on premium Italian sprayers and USA-made bottles that you see today. We could have gone with much cheaper plastics, but we wanted something that would be worthy of the ESOTERIC name.
